1. Acceptance of Terms

Yoo Live is a live-streaming and social entertainment platform operated by Darkcodex Tech (“Yoo Live”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, accessing or using the Yoo Live mobile application or related services, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Yoo Live.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Yoo Live. By using Yoo Live you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. You confirm that the information you provide on registration is accurate and that you are legally permitted to use the service in your country.

3. Your Account

4. License to Use Yoo Live

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Yoo Live for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or create derivative works of the app or its content except as permitted by law.

5. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Yoo Live to create, upload, stream, share or promote content or behaviour that:

We may remove content and suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice, and may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

6. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the content you create on Yoo Live. By posting or streaming content, you grant Yoo Live a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute and adapt that content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting and improving the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content already shared with others or retained as required by law or for legitimate business records.

You are solely responsible for your content and confirm you have all rights necessary to share it. We do not endorse user content and are not liable for it.

7. Live Streaming Rules

Live broadcasts are subject to all rules in these Terms. Because streams are live, they may be monitored (including automated facial and content analysis as described in our Privacy Policy) to detect violations. We may interrupt, mute, end or remove any stream that breaches these Terms or applicable law. Hosts are responsible for guests and participants they invite on screen.

8. Coins, Gifts & Virtual Items

9. Payments & Refunds

Purchases are processed by the Google Play Store under its own terms. Prices include applicable taxes where required. Refund requests are handled in accordance with the Google Play refund policy; you may also contact us at officialyoolive@gmail.com for assistance. You are responsible for any charges incurred under your account and Google account.

10. Intellectual Property

The Yoo Live name, logo, app, software, design and all related materials are owned by Darkcodex Tech or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks without our prior written permission.

11. Third-Party Services

Yoo Live integrates third-party services (e.g. login providers, payment processing, streaming and analytics SDKs). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services and disclaim liability for them.

12. Termination & Suspension

You may stop using Yoo Live and delete your account at any time via the in-app settings or as described on our Account & Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or for prolonged inactivity. On termination, your licence to use Yoo Live ends and unused virtual items may be forfeited, subject to applicable law.

13. Disclaimers

Yoo Live is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that content shared by users is accurate or lawful.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Darkcodex Tech and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill or virtual items, arising from your use of (or inability to use) Yoo Live. Our total aggregate liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Darkcodex Tech and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of Yoo Live, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will provide notice through the app or other appropriate means before they take effect. Your continued use of Yoo Live after the changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to first contact us at officialyoolive@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the matter informally. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
