1. Privacy Protection Summary

Below is a summary of this Privacy Policy to help you navigate it. This summary is not a substitute for reading the full policy. Use the section headings to jump to specific topics.

1.1 What you provide

To register, we require a nickname, mobile number and password. You may add optional profile details. Using features such as live streaming, gifting or social tools, we process the information needed to operate them.

1.2 How we use it

To provide and improve Yoo Live, enable communication between users, set up accounts, provide support and enable platform features. Contact details are used only for verification, account protection and important administrative messages — never for marketing without your explicit consent.

1.3 Who we share with

We do not share your information except where necessary to provide the service (e.g. SMS providers, affiliated entities) or where required by law. All providers must uphold the same level of data protection described here.

1.4 Where we process it

Our servers are located primarily in Singapore and your data may be processed by our service providers in other jurisdictions. Rigorous internal access controls limit data access to authorized personnel only.

1.5 How long we keep it

Retention periods vary by data type. For example, login data is kept up to 90 days. On account deletion, your information is removed within 60 days of verifying ownership or receiving your request, whichever is later.

1.6 Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights of access, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Contact us using the details below to exercise them.

1.7 How we notify you of changes. If we make significant changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update this document and notify you before the changes take effect through the Yoo Live app or other appropriate channels.

User Control

You may disable facial features or delete processed images at any time. All temporary facial data is automatically deleted when the relevant function is ended.

2.7 Sharing Outside Yoo Live

Some features allow you to share content to external platforms such as public blogs, social media networks or forums. Information shared externally may be read or used by third parties unaffiliated with Yoo Live. You may also link your Yoo Live contacts with your device address book or third-party social accounts to find and connect with others. Yoo Live will request your permission before accessing your contacts.

2.8 Third-Party Integrations

Yoo Live allows you to connect with selected third-party social media services. You may log in using a third-party account (e.g. Facebook, Google), import content or contact information, or access third-party content within the app.

Please note: your use of any third-party service is governed by that service’s own terms and privacy policy — not by this policy. We are not responsible for third-party data practices. If you withdraw consent for third-party integrations, certain features may no longer be available.

2.9 Age Restrictions

We are committed to protecting the privacy and integrity of your personal information, regardless of where it is stored. We apply technical protections including encryption and restrict access through internal controls.

However, no internet transmission is completely secure. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we cannot guarantee the security of information during transmission. You transmit data at your own risk.

2.11 Data Retention Schedule

We retain personal information as follows:

If legal obligations require us to retain data beyond these periods, it will be stored separately from other personal information. Inactive accounts are automatically deleted after 180 days.

2.12 Your Rights

  1. Access and Correction — request access to the personal information we hold and how it is used, and request corrections. You can access and update most information directly in your account settings.
  2. Erasure — request deletion where we no longer need it, you have withdrawn consent, you believe processing is unlawful, or it was collected when you were under 18. We may retain certain information where required by law, in which case we will inform you.

  4. Data Portability — receive a copy of certain information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and request transfer to another party where technically feasible.
  5. Right to Object — object where we rely on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at officialyoolive@gmail.com. We will respond within one month (extendable by two months for complex requests) after verifying your identity.

2.13 Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For significant changes, we will publish the updated policy and notify you in advance through the Yoo Live app or other appropriate means before the changes take effect.
